I offer therapy from my consulting room in Harpenden.

About Therapy

Psychodynamic counselling is a relationship driven therapy which helps clients to unravel, experience and understand their true, deep-rooted feelings.  By working with the unconscious and exploring past experiences, clients can begin to get in touch with some of their difficult feelings and unravel and understand how the past has shaped their current behaviour and beliefs.  This holistic counselling approach opens up a space for creativity, reflection and shifts in self-perception which promote self-awareness, change and personal growth.

I am here to listen and I offer short-term and long-term individual, face to face therapy from my consulting room in Harpenden.  I also offer remote therapy via telephone counselling or Online counselling (zoom).  Once initial contact has been made, we can arrange a convenient time to set up a consultation to explore the reasons that brought you to counselling and your expectations of how we may work together.  I work with Adults, Older Adults, Students and Young People.   I abide by the ethical framework for Good Practice in Counselling & Psychotherapy.

Initial Sessions

The purpose of this initial session is to explore and understand in more depth why you are seeking counselling and for you to experience the counselling relationship with me, so you can make an informed decision when taking your next step, of committing to regular counselling sessions.  An Initial consultation is £55 and can last up to 1 hour, this can be experienced face to face, remotely via zoom or by telephone.
